Connie Phelan has a passion for shaking things up. Becoming a firewalk instructor was the perfect avenue to channel her limitless energy and gently push others to do the impossible. Connie grew up with a love of sports. Playing softball at a national level shaped her appreciation of team and leadership. Connie became a business owner of a printing company in 1986, partnering with many industries. From there she moved to the world of advertising where she thrived in the fast-paced environment ensuring successful results for Fortune 500 companies.

Born and raised in Venezuela until the age of 15 by a father from Kansas and a mother from Puerto Rico, Karen E. Pfeffer has a unique cultural mix that has inspired her to challenge stereotypes and "push the envelope" at every opportunity.
Karen Pfeffer became the first female president of the Bank Marketing Association of South Florida in 1988. She became a certified practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) in 1992, and became certified in Basic and Advanced PSYCH-K in 2009. She has been in the forefront of strategic marketing and motivational training in South Florida through her own marketing and advertising agency, providing keynote presentations, seminars and workshops since 1991.
